About your instructor: Jesse McLaughlin is a professional photographer with extensive experience in creating award-winning images as well as in assisting visual artists to get high-quality photographs of their work. He will cover the basics of good image capture (e.g., best lighting, how to position your camera to minimize “keystoning” effects, how to set your exposure to get proper color saturation, etc.). In addition, he will discuss straightforward post-processing techniques to optimize your image (don’t worry – no Photoshop skills needed). There are free and useful editing programs for both your smartphone and your computer. Feel free to bring in a piece of your own artwork and your camera for a hands-on experience in Photographing Your Art! |
