Learn tips & tricks for marketing your art online. In this workshop Jill will be providing an overview of different marketing solutions: social media, websites, and newsletters. There will also be a live demo on photographing and editing your art using your smartphone. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to photograph and market your art online.

Supplies:
1. Your own smartphone or tablet
2. Install Snapseed from the app store (it’s free) prior to arriving at the workshop
3. Bring one piece of artwork that is small or medium sized (no larger than 16x20) It’s best if its not
behind glass or varnished with gloss. (It’s ok if it is, but it’s harder to photograph due to glare)
4. Notebook to take notes. Jill will email the slides from the talk after the workshop.

About the Instructor:
Jill Rumley—I’m a technologically savvy woman who has worked on computers for over 40 years. I’m also an artist who wants to sell her work. Both are creative endeavors, and I help people like you solve your technology problems. I offer coaching on the latest marketing strategies using social media, and I will show you how to get your work out there with my step by step tech guides.
As a geek and an artist, I bridge the gap between tech and creativity. Helping women understand tech is my passion, I’ve been doing it for over 20 years. My favorite win is when I hear “Yes, I can do this” from my audience.
