The Louisville Art Association "Summertime" Theme Show is underway and is hanging at the Louisville Library until July 30th. Be sure to visit this exciting show! This show will shake loose your appreciation for everything from cuddling a sunfish to flying over a stream on a swing your dad made for you. Turn right as you enter the library and proceed to the "Summertime" art display in the hallway. There you'll find beautiful paintings and sculptures that will evoke a sense of Summer and mesmerize you. Now that you are under Summertime's spell, your next assignment is to decide the very best pieces. Deposit your vote for your favorite painting in the handy box, and do the same (different box) for your favorite sculpture. Your favorite winning artists will be announced at the August LAA meeting. See you at the show!!! A few beautiful samples from the show...don't miss out! (Psst...the pieces are for sale!)
