DIrectors Ken Roberge, Kirk Fry, and Steve Markman have packed our member program into a video with many of our real life meeting activities.
You'll find announcements, news about our Shows, Member celebrations and Workshop previews, including a demonstration from Janet Nunn, whose workshop, "Painting Without A Brush" was very well received as well as Judi Dressler's Photography Class. Janet's and Judi's workshops will be available to stream online at a reasonable price in a few weeks.
Because of the Virus, we cannot meet in person for our monthly programs, as large meetings in a closed indoor space are the most risky for our members, so we hope this is a helpful temporary replacement.
Your Board is working hard to create alternatives for our members to meet, display their work, and learn. Please share your feedback in the comments below, via email, FaceBook (where the video will also be posted) and our website contact form. Note that we aren't video experts, so be gentle with critique on our "production values" We are learning on the job along with you.
Share your news in the comments here on the Blog as well as thoughts you may have on LAA virtual events. We look forward to hearing your creative ideas!
Have a good week and keep making art!
