The Louisville Art Association is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting the advancement of visual art. We encourage appreciation and knowledge of visual art by sponsoring many activities in our community. All our activities are open to the public.

LAA sponsors a number of regularly scheduled events such as Plein Air, figure painting and marquetry.


Marquetry artists meet once a month on Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.  If you are interested, please contact Ellen Kisker (dave.kisker@gmail).  See event calendar for specific dates and places.

Figure painting meets usually on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Louisville Art Center.  Live clothed models are available. There will also be a still life set up for those who are interested in painting/drawing this subject. It is a fun group, focused and hardworking.  Hope you join us.

Plein Air meets Fridays, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at different locations.  Check the event calendar for locations and details. We start in April and go through October weather permitting.  All are welcomed members and non-members.
